Places around French Riviera
Since the French Riviera stretches to more than a 100 kilometers, it’s natural that it will cover numerous towns and cities. You can get in any one of them and enjoy the surroundings and the beach. Here are some of the places that you can consider visiting. Though they are not really rated from the best to the least good, it’s still a great choice for a perfect summer vacation.
Cannes – before Cannes became famous worldwide for the Cannes Film Festival, the town is known for its pristine beaches. Since the popularity of Cannes is now full blown, there are high rise hotels that face the beach. If you’re there for the festival alone, you’ll be tempted with all the parties that seemed to be going on from anywhere you’ll be standing. But even the town is done with the festival; most of the travelers prefer to stay here for an after party celebration and that could go on until the festival goes back again to the town.

Antibes – If you’re looking for a town that’s built on history and sophistication, look no further. Antibes has been the preferred beach for generations by yacht owners. The virtual tranquility of the beach makes it perfect for the yacht owners to place their yachts in place. From there they can choose from various hotels. The beach is equally stunning and since it’s almost tranquil, your kids will easily enjoy the beach. There are also historical places that you should visit anytime you are there. The people are also warm in accommodation and they will surely enchant you with their fine cooking.
Villefranche-sur-Mer – another noteworthy town by the French Riviera, you’ll never be lonely here once you get to this town. There are so many options that you can do in this place. Just like the Antibes, there are also places that you should be able to visit. But most of the people that loves the Mediterranean Sea, it’s always a great place to visit at anytime of the year. Be sure to try out the foods that are served near the seashore. The local cuisine is a must as it tell the best of the place.

Toulon – If you’re not familiar with the French Riviera, you might have not heard of this town. The town of Toulon is located near the westernmost area of the town. But the beach itself is not the main attraction but it has been instrumental during the WWII. Don’t count out the beach yet as it is a very fine beach. For any travelers who want to have the best of nature and history, Toulon is a must.
Nice – we’re saving the biggest for last. Most of the travelers of the French Riviera use this as the stop over before they go to other places. With an international airport and hotels that will rival most of the great hotels in the country, you’ll never have a bored moment here. Be sure to head for the beach to get the most out of it.
