Facts about French Riviera
In this 70-mile stretch of the French Riviera, there are beaches that you should visit while there are beaches that you should really visit when you are there. Even though the waters are from the same Mediterranean Sea, there are some beaches that stand out because of their location and their ability to capture the sun, the sands and the waters. They are also being complemented by the locals and the experience could never be replicated in anytime.
Among the towns that can be found in the French Riviera, there’s no other town that will top St. Tropez in terms of the beautiful beaches. This small town that has a beach that stretches for at least five kilometers is the favorite not only by the locals and Europeans but by famous persons around the world. The summer months in this town is really busy and the number of people increases to more than ten times the total population. The variety of the beaches in this town is also endless. You can choose from the family friendly Plage Port Grimaud or to the adults only Tahiti Beach where clothes are optional.
Cannes is also known for their beaches. The coast of La Croisette invites everyone for a great day at the beach. The most expensive hotels in the Cannes are in the coast of these beaches. Aside from the Film Festival that placed Cannes in the international map, this beach should be enough for any traveler to spend a day or two. Summer could get really busy here but you can also go here during the off season where the beach is quiet chilly but still the same.
Antibes also has their own beach to be proud of. The golden sounded beach also captures the beauty of the sunset and you’ll never have a dull time. Plage de la Salis is their premier beach and everything can be found there. The hotels, the bars and even the night life is found in this part of the beach. If you can’t get enough of this beach in Antibes, head on to the Juan-les-Pins, the old town of the Antibes and go to Beau Rivage Nice. Equally stunning, the beach is as old as the town but it still retains it’s beauty as it invites people for another swim for another day.
Nice of course can’t be left out. There’s really no specific beach to point in this part of the French Riviera that’s the best. The hotels are scattered all over the area and wherever you place yourself, there’s always a sun that will give you the best tan and a sunset that will make all the waiting worth it. If you have the budget, get a hotel room in one of the hotels and get a room that’s an ocean front.
These are the beaches that you should try out when you’re in the French Riviera. Whether you’re with your family, alone or special someone, there’s a specific beach for you in this 70-mile long church.
